The Colour in Anything – James Blake

This album couldn’t have come out at a better time. Not only is it cooling down and raining, but the croon that comes with James Blake seems to be soothing my tired and frustrated mind.

Half way in and I can almost say the production and vocals have so far been consistent to Blake’s identity and hauntingly perfect. Oh man, “Put that away and Talk to Me”, currently playing, I recommend earphones for the full experience.

In summary, as a general feel, I feel like i’d recommend it to anyone that appreciates the dark as much as the light because they’ll understand the beauty in Blake’s music.
